On 18 October 2022, engineer and author Kenza Ait Si Abbou Lyadini read from her book “My Friend Roxy” to primary school children at the Central Library at the Kulturpalast Dresden. In the book, Lili finds a damaged robot on her way to school, which she names Roxy – an amazing robot girl who learns quickly and teaches herself new skills. But while Lili is excited to discover how to communicate with Roxy, the anxious question remains: Who does Roxy actually belong to?

After the reading, experts from the Barkhausen Institut showed the 18 school children at the COSMO Science Forum how robots learn. They built paper airplanes, played Activity and tried out two applications on the computer.
