BI Research Fellows are renowned professors who support the research mission and vision of the BI. They collaborate with the individual research groups of the BI, provide strategic recommendations, and act as ambassadors of the BI research mission.

Jeronimo Castrillon heads the chair of Compiler Construction at the computer science department of TU Dresden. His research interests lie on methodologies, languages, tools and algorithms for programming complex computing systems. Prof. Castrillon is also affiliated with the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed), the Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Dresden/Leipzig (SCaDS.AI) and the 6G-life Hub.
