Starting in February 2023, scientists from the research group Composable Operating Systems will work on the new project Micro Cosmos - A Programming Model and Compiler for Cloud Microservices.

The project explores an approach to automatically translate sequential programs into distributed programs. Until now, writing distributed programs has required a lot of time and expert knowledge. With the help of a compiler, this should be remedied so that distributed programs, e.g., cloud programs, can be created faster and more efficiently in the future.
