M/EDGE - Secure Low-Power Medical Edge Computing

On 11th January 2023 we met with our partners at the kick-off meeting for our new project ”M/EDGE - Secure Low-Power Medical Edge Computing.”
In this project, we are going to develop energy-saving and miniaturized computing technology for use in and on patients. We also strive for solutions to connect medical products to a medical cloud in an energy-saving manner.
The computing technology must be powerful enough to maintain functionality even if the connection to the cloud is lost. At the same time, it should be energy-efficient to ensure long battery life, even in a small format such as an ingestible capsule.
To achieve this, M/EDGE will analyze three applications and develop an optimized computing technique.
