Barkhausen Institut

Talks at the AI-demo at the Deutsches Hygiene Museum Dresden

As a cooperation partner of the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, which presented the exhibition ‘ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: Machines - Learning - Human Dreams’ from November 2021 to November 2022, the Barkhausen Institut developed an interactive exhibit especially for this exhibition.

With the help of a driving simulator, visitors were able to playfully discover how important the quantity and quality of data are for the functioning of artificial intelligence. As part of a special event, two AI experts from the Barkhausen Institut were available to answer visitors' questions on two evenings in March 2022:

On 11 March, Maximillian Matthé, software developer and head of the Connected Robotics Lab, was on site and on 18 March, visitors were able to talk to Paul Kühne, also a software developer and research associate at the Barkhausen Institut.

Both experts have many years of experience at the Barkhausen Institut and played a key role in the development of the interactive installation on autonomous driving. In total, more than 200 people took part in this event.
