Dr. Konstantin Klamka at Dagstuhl Seminar

From February 16–21, Dr. Konstantin Klamka, research group leader of CoRoLa (Connected Robotics Lab), was invited to participate in a Dagstuhl Seminar at Schloss Dagstuhl – Leibniz Center for Informatics (LZI). The seminar focused on exploring the emerging research field of "Visualizing Data on Non-Flat, Non-Rectangular Displays."

During the event, an international group of researchers gathered to discuss and develop new approaches that go beyond the limitations of flat and static displays. Experts discussed the challenges and opportunities presented by novel display technologies, ranging from curved and flexible screens to spherical and cube-shaped displays.

The intensive exchange of ideas and collaborative efforts at Schloss Dagstuhl provided valuable insights that pave the way for future advancements in this exciting research field. The seminar focused on developing innovative visualization techniques, exploring practical application scenarios, and examining the impact on perception and decision-making.

Dagstuhl Seminars are highly regarded in the research community for their productivity, as they foster deep knowledge exchange and the development of new concepts, making them a central hub for scientific innovation.
