The Barkhausen Institut invites to the discussion ‘Can networked medical devices be trusted?’ at the COSMO Science Forum on 26 November from 6 to 7.30 pm. Dr.-Ing. Mattis Hasler, scientist in the Scalable Computing Hardware group at BI, will be on hand to talk about the opportunities and challenges of these technologies.

Participants will also have the chance to try out the prototype of a secure platform for medical devices, which is designed to protect patient data. The feedback will be used to further develop the prototype and adapt it to the needs of users.

The event is aimed at doctors, medical students and anyone interested in research, participation and digital technologies.
