COSMO Science Forum - A Roadmap on Upcoming Topics
COSMO is the new forum for the exchange between science and society at the Kulturpalast Dresden. It presents the diversity of science and brings it to life with images, discussions, interaction and participation.
The project is run by the Barkhausen Institut gGmbH and the Department for Speculative Transformation of TU Dresden, in cooperation with partners of the Science Alliance DRESDEN-concept, the Dresden Philharmonic and the Central Library.
The partners want to present the following topics from science and research to the public:
- Urban Mobility in October/November 2022
- Digital World and Data Security in October/November/December 2022
- Advent Special in December 2022
- Robotics in January/February 2023
- Sustainability in March/April/May 2023
COSMO can be visited from Tuesday to Thursday between 1 pm and 6 pm.
At the science forum, you can find are interactive exhibits and games; and you can get informed on current research and take tips for everyday life "to go"....
Scientists will be on site, providing an opportunity to talk about research, successes and doubts, visions and wishes, and more.
Workshops for young and old complete the program. The following formats are currently being planned:

- After Work Talks
- Science Fiction Talks
