On December 12, 2024, Malou Kunz, project manager at the Barkhausen Institut, will present the COSMO Science Forum at the Forum Science Communication conference.

The presentation will highlight experiences, successes, and challenges associated with this unique platform that connects the scientific community in Dresden with the public. A key focus will be on how participatory formats can be further developed to build and sustain trust in science among the broader society.

The Forum Science Communication is the largest professional conference on science communication in the German-speaking world. Organized annually by Wissenschaft im Dialog, a collaborative initiative of the German scientific community for science communication, the conference will take place this year from December 11 to 12 in Berlin. The central theme is "Science Communication for a Strong Democracy and Open Society."
