BI at Dresden Science Night
The BI will be taking part in Dresden Science Night on 14 June together with its partner DST - Department Speculative Transformation in and around the COSMO Science Forum.
The workshop Code & Play offers children and teenagers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the basics of robotics. Participants can playfully gain their first experience of programming and controlling robots. Creativity is particularly encouraged as they control a robot arm to draw a picture or play with building blocks, for example.
Start: 17:00, end: 20:30.
The Zukunftswerkstatt (Future Workshop) - Painting & Crafting for Children offers children the opportunity to put their dreams of the future on paper and make things. A place full of colours and innovative tools is waiting to be discovered.
Start: 17:00, end: 20:30.
The exhibition Visionary Realities - Shaping the Future Together presents prototypes and applications from various Dresden research institutions that bring visions of the future to life. Researchers will be available for personal discussions and guided tours of the exhibition.
Start: 17:00, end: 22:30.
The VR Goggles Experience offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of mixed reality and experience how VR goggles enable a new perspective on robotics. There will be an opportunity to interact directly with a robot on Dresden's Altmarkt.
Start: 18:00, end: 22:30.
We look forward to welcoming you to the COSMO Science Forum in the Kulturpalast Dresden.
