At the 26th audit berufundfamilie certificate award ceremony on 18 June in Berlin, the Barkhausen Institut was honoured already for the second time for its family- and life-phase-conscious personnel policy and family-friendly working conditions.

Dr. Tim Hentschel, Managing Director at BI, was delighted to accept the award: "We are proud to receive the 'audit berufundfamilie' certificate once again. This award confirms our ongoing commitment to a family-friendly HR policy. It motivates us to continue to create the best possible conditions for our employees."

The certification was awarded after a structured audit process lasting several months, during which solutions for a better balance between work, family and private life were further developed and the orientation towards family and life phases was embedded in the organisation's culture.

The certificates, which act as a seal of quality, were presented by the patron of the audit, Federal Minister for Family Affairs Lisa Paus MdB. She emphasised: "The certified companies, institutions and universities show responsibility by making it easier for their employees to combine work and family life. They are not only role models for employers in Germany, but also benefit in the competition for the best talents and contribute to a modern, family-conscious working environment. I congratulate all the certificate holders who have embarked on this journey, whether they are just starting out or have improved and developed year on year."
